We are looking for an Estimator to provide accurate, technically compliant and timely quotations to customers and distributors.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate request for quote (RFQ) and determine compliant solutions from within the Coopers Fire product range

  • Prepare and review quotations issued to ensure accurate and complete based on information and drawings provided

  • Ensure margins quoted at are as agreed by the business based on product type and market sold to. Highlight variances to management for review

  • Highlight major projects to management for pricing review

  • Evaluate customers’ needs and ensuring the most relevant/cost effective solution for each enquiry is provided

  • Accurate and timely completion of project information to the CRM system to provide visibility of quotations to the wider business

  • Develop customer relationships with repeat customers and distributors

  • Provide support to Bid Manager in preparation of major tenders

  • Liaise with other Coopers Fire departments to ensure customer needs are met

Job requirements

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (particularly Excel)

  • Good customer service & communication skills

 

Desirable:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
