We are looking for a Panel Wirer to join our established Electrics team in our factory. Our panel wirers carry out the electronic assemblies using predetermined programmes and works orders, detailed work instructions or drawings to the required standard in the manufacturing of life saving equipment

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities

As part of an established, skilled team working in our factory, this role focuses on fitting, wiring, building and assembling power control cabinets of varying sizes, including fault finding, repair and testing. The successful candidate will have previous experience understanding and working from electrical schematics and drawings. Some soldering is involved as is using hand tools..

Our Electrics team works closely together, cross checking each other’s work to ensure quality, training and developing newer members of the team, and supporting stock control and general housekeeping.

Job requirements

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES

Essential

·        Experience in building control panels from drawings and schematics

·        Excellent communication skills with attention to detail

 

Desirable

·        Experience in a manufacturing environment
